2020 | Mixed Media, stretched on wood frame

The COVID-19 pandemic compelled the government of Rwanda to institute curfews. This artwork is about the rush and commotion just before the curfew. The artist echoes Nina Simone's view that "it is an artist's duty to reflect the times in which we live."
