MUGISHA Paul is a born and raised Rwandan artist who has always had a knack for arts. After losing his parents at quite an early age, Paul's aptitude for art first showed in drawing on floors using charcoal while living at his Aunt's house. His artistic mastery grew alongside his formal education, leading him to attend art school. Today the artist primarily creates with ballpoint pen using a meticulous drawing technique that requires patience, time and focus. However, he still returns to his first medium and also creates artworks on canvas with charcoal. He defines the themes in his work as AFROREALISM to show Africa's beauty to the world.
