This Street

He had heard musicians sing about streets for a long time. They would sing about the streets where they grew up, the roads that raised them. Never did he fully understand the reason for the praise these streets received. But when he was about 12 years old, he had a conversation with one of his local vendors, from whom he often went shopping which enlightened him. The vendor said “son, I love this street. It has helped me to raise my kids, some of whom have grown and gotten married. With the many changes that border life, this street has been a constant blessing to me; people come and go, but this street is still here and remains a great part of my family's history and daily life”..
