A Displaying Village Weaver
2022 | Digital Photograph
During the breeding season male Village Weavers will construct nests to attract a mate. Once complete they hang from the bottom of their nests and display to signal to the females to come and inspect. If content the female will mate with the male, if not the nest will be destroyed and the nest building starts again!

It is also available as KomezArt print reproductions on canvas or foam. 10% of the artist's profits from sales of this work will be donated to the Rwanda Wildlife Conservation Association.
