Between Heaven and Me

This original Rwandan artwork tells the story of a woman who values mental health. One of her favorite times of the day is when she connects with nature. She believes that there is an energy that nourishes her soul, and this force exists in the space between heaven and herself. Although it is an imaginary place, she is convinced it is real, and she visits it every day.
