Just The Two of Us!

Umusambi Village is a nature reserve and sanctuary for rehabilitated Grey-crowned cranes, located on the eastern outskirts of Kigali. In the early morning, those cranes that are able like to fly to an elevated perch overlooking one the water features in the nature reserve and I have been lucky enough to experience this on a number of occasions. During the breeding season when the cranes have paired off to mate they like to perch together in the early mornings. I wanted this photograph to show this intimate moment between a pair of cranes.

The original artwork is available as one of ten limited edition photographic prints on matte paper, signed and numbered by the artist, and finished with an 8cm mat board behind glass, within a black or white frame of 2.5cm. The approx. dimensions of the framed photo are 37 x 30 cm. It is also available as KomezArt print reproductions on canvas or foam. 10% of the artist's profits from sales of this work will be donated to the Rwanda Wildlife Conservation Association.
