Yellow-billed Oxpeckers and large mammals like the Cape Buffalo have somewhat of a symbiotic relationship - the mammal has ticks and other parasites on them and the Oxpeckers come along and remove them to eat. Whilst on the northern plains of Akagera National Park in eastern Rwanda, I watched as a large herd of Buffalo moved across the plain and some had Oxpeckers on their back. I was drawn to this particular composition due to the number Oxpeckers on the one Buffalo that appeared to be deep in conversation.
