Stillness and Calm

The small Malachite Kingfisher is a master hunter, waiting and watching the water below, remaining calm and still until it's time to strike. Malachite Kingfisher's are also shy, flying off at the smallest disturbance. I had get into position very early in the morning and wait for one to arrive - three hours later I was able to capture this photograph. 

The original artwork is available as a photographic print on matte paper and finished with an 8cm mat board behind glass, within a black or white frame of 2.5cm. The approx. dimensions of the framed photo are 60 x 42 cm. It is also available as KomezArt print reproductions on canvas or foam.
