Romeo NIYIGENA is a multidisciplinary artist living and working in Kigali. He discovered his love for art at an early age and graduated from Ecole D'Arts de Nyundo Art School in 2018, having studied graphic arts. His mediums include oils, acrylics and collage of newspapers on canvas. His works express his thoughts through realism style, though he enjoys experimenting and playing with different color pallets, textures and unusual materials. For Romeo each and every art piece he creates includes a poetic expression with a unique story or meaning behind it. His works reflect his environment as well as global black culture and cultures from across Africa. He has held multiple solo exhibitions in Rwanda.
