Being watched by a Topi…
2023 | Digital Photograph
The Topi is a firm favourite of mine amongst the many antelope found in Akagera National Park. Often seen grazing in mixed herds across the park, one behaviour that sets them apart is when grazing one member of the herd will be a sentinel, often standing on top of a termite mound so it can see further. This male paused his grazing, looked up and watched me as I stopped the car to create this portrait.
The original artwork is available as a photographic print on matte paper and finished with an 8cm mat board behind glass, within a black or white frame of 2.5cm. The approx. dimensions of the framed photo are 60 x 42 cm. It is also available as KomezArt print reproductions on canvas or foam.
