The national flower of Rwanda is the rose. Specifically, it is the rose variety known as the "Lac rose" or "Lac des cygnes," which has pink petals and a white center. This flower was chosen as the national flower of Rwanda in 2004 and it is often used as a symbol of love, friendship, and appreciation in Rwandan culture.
