Whilst Lilac-breasted Rollers can be found throughout Akagera National Park, the northern plains provide a great opportunity to watch them hunt for insects in the long grasses. Often from an elevated they will watch for movement before flying down after their prey. When they return to a perch their flight is often slower with low glides allowing images like this to be created.

The original artwork is available as a photographic print on matte paper and finished with an 8cm mat board behind glass, within a black or white frame of 2.5cm. The approx. dimensions of the framed photo are 60 x 42 cm. It is also available as KomezArt print reproductions on canvas or foam.
