Izere Antoine is a Rwandan impasto painter and illustrator. Antoine's art journey started during the three years he studied Sculpture and Ceramics at Rwanda's Nyundo School of Arts. As an artist, Izere has executed several training programs and exhibitions, mostly in Rwanda and in Kenya. The artist says he fell in love with the process of creating and exhibiting art, as well as participating in exhibitions. He believes that art can help people escape from the everyday realities that they face, and in that way, art contributes to everyday life.
