The comfort provided by the cradle reminds us that the cradle of life is life. The cradle is the ground under which the roots of a tree flourish and grow. The roots enable the tree to be fixed in land and grows to give food, medicine, conserve water, provide rain, and so on. Without where we come from, we are not human as a tree is not itself without the roots. Let's not run away from our source even if it may be hurting. It's from that place where we are given breath but not definition. No matter how things turn, never forget where you come from.
