Lion King

Kilala plain is an open savanna located in the north of Akagera National Park. As I drove across as the sun rose early one morning I saw the head of a large male lion lying in the long grass near the track I was driving on. As I drove closer I noticed the lion had just finished feeding on his breakfast, the carcass of a Topi lay before him. Alert, watchng for any intruders that may try to take his breakfast I created this portrait.

The original artwork is available as a photographic print on matte paper and finished with an 8cm mat board behind glass, within a black or white frame of 2.5cm. The approx. dimensions of the framed photo are 60 x 42 cm. It is also available as KomezArt print reproductions on canvas or foam.
