Southern Red Bishop

A male Southern Red Bishop in breeding plumage perched on a Lion's tail plant (Leonitus Leonurus). During their breeding season, these brightly colored weaver birds can be found in wetland habits across Rwanda. I was drawn to this composition because of the coordinating colors.

The original artwork is available as one of ten limited edition photographic prints on matte paper, signed and numbered by the artist, and finished with an 8cm mat board behind glass, within a black or white frame of 2.5cm. The approximate dimensions of the framed photo are 37 x 30 cm. It is also available as KomezArt print reproductions on canvas or foam. 10% of the artist's profits from sales of this work will be donated to the Rwanda Wildlife Conservation Association.
