Ashaba Gabito

Ashaba Gabito holds a Bachelors degree in fine art and is currently pursuing a masters degree in Art and industrial design. Experienced in various art disciplines, majoring in drawing, painting and related media, he prefers drawing with charcoal and ash and loves oil paintings. He derives inspiration from life experiences and situations around him, and he connects with his audience using human figure art pieces. He has taught Art for over 7 years in various schools, focusing on the Cambridge curriculum and IB programme. Besides art education, he has been in professional art practice since 2014. His most recent notable engagement is the Bic Art Master Africa 2021 in which he emerged 8th in Africa.
