"Tabaro,"" meaning the protector/savior, and "Intarumikwa," meaning unshakable. This mountain gorilla resides in the heart of the Virunga National Park. Its purpose is to safeguard and assist the rest of its tribe, giving rise to its name. While appreciating the beauty of Virunga National Park, it also keeps a watchful eye on anything that may pose a threat or cause harm."
