Crossed Lovers
2023 | Charcoal & Acrylic On Canvas, Stretched on Wood Frame
"CROSSED LOVERS (a poem)
A bliss, how my intuition meets your soul
Your heart and mine intertwine in misery.
A tragedy, how we light up unrequited flames
One of us becomes a mystery
Another’s longing grows
A bliss, how we softly communicate
you leave my heart confused, wanting more.
A tragedy, how I fear to let my soul misled
one of us sticks and stays
another dances on love’s tightrope
A bliss, how I become free and freaky
you become fine but fishy
A tragedy, how our love gets spicy before the storm
one of us falls in love
another gets thirsty for lust
A bliss, how entrust you with my reign
you only want to quit
A tragedy, how walls we built keep us apart
one of us holds on quietly
another moves on quickly
A tragedy, how i suffer the wait
you settle elsewhere.
A tragedy, how we simply forget
love slowly fades
Memories surge to tales. "
