Born in 1999, Teta Micheline (Teta Chel) is a multifaceted artist, known for her work as a painter, poet, and tattooist. She graduated from École d’art de Nyundo in 2019 with a diploma in Graphic Art and Design. Renowned for her semi-abstract compositions, Teta Chel uses her art to metaphorically communicate, tell stories, and express her emotions with profound depth. Her creative process is not only a therapeutic outlet but also a powerful medium for exploring personal meaning and shedding light on often overlooked topics within her community, such as mental health and sexuality. Through her work, she fosters curiosity and promotes the transformative power of meaningful conversations, connecting individuals through shared stories and emotions.

Teta Chel has showcased her talent in three solo exhibitions in Rwanda and has participated in several significant group exhibitions, including *A LA FRONTIER* at Institut Français Rwanda, *WALK WITH ME* and *SISTERHOOD OF THE ART* organized by Impundu Arts, *JUNE EXHIBITION* at Indiba Art Space, *ROOTED IN AFRICA* at The Loft at Liz's in Los Angeles, CA, and *FIERCE FEMME* at Gallery Brulhart in Geneva, Switzerland.
